Welcoming Committee

Hi Friends, 

As the YIOT Welcoming Committee, we are super excited to announce that welcome meals for new families are back! We are asking for volunteers to host new families, including those who joined at the start of 2020, so please sign up  here  if you are interested.

If you're not sure whether you want to host right now, we get it. After all, maybe you're just finally emerging from social hibernation and starting to host your longtime friends! But the marginal inconvenience of adding a few seats to your Shabbos table is outweighed by the outsized impact you will have on a family who will finally feel a part of this incredible community. You will be responsible for making someone feel like they can sit comfortably at shul, attend community programming, and linger during kiddush. It's a huge mitzvah and we'd appreciate your participation!
