Bnei Akiva
Lital & Hadas (our new Bnei Akiva leaders) invite 6-8th
graders to a special kick off event on Shabbat, September
15th at 5:00p at YIOT.
There will also be a meeting with for 9-12th graders with the
madrichim at 9:30p at Lital & Hadas’ apartment (969
Country Club). Pizza will be served.
Correction
The riddle for Shabbat of 8/25 should have been:
Question: The Mechaber in Shulchan Aruch describes one
particular misdeed with the verse uttered by Cain in B'reisht 4:13
"gadol avoni mi'nsoh" - [the] sin is too great to bear. What is this
misdeed that the Mechaber writes is too great to bear?
Answer: Speaking about mundane things ("sichat chulin") during
the repetition of the Shmoneh Esrai by the Chaim 124:7.
Hospitality Needed
Our Youth Director is planning on spending the first days of
Sukkot in Teaneck. If anyone is hosting a meal and
wouldn't mind adding two extra plates for Aaron and his
wife please contact Michael Gutlove as soon as possible.

The final schedule for Parsha Parties will be announced over

Volunteers Needed
Volunteers are needed to be “Yotze V’Nichnas” (come and
go occasionally to keep an eye on things) during a planned
program for our older children during Rosh Hashana &
Yom Kippur davening. Contact Mark Zomick if interested.
Youth Announcements
There will be a kiddush sponsored by the Youth Committee
in the social hall during groups for children and group
leaders only. The social hall will be closed following the
hashkama minyan. The Parent/Teen minyan kicks off this
week at 8:00a in the Beit Medrash. The "shmooze" for all
group leaders will be at 9:45a in the Beit Medrash. Group
leader assignments have been announced, and will be
discussed in more detail during "shmooze”. Bnei Akiva
sniff will begin after the yom tovim.
The Youth Committee invites the entire kehilla to a dessert
in the shul parking lot at 5:00p to meet our new Youth
Director, Aaron and his wife Ariella, and the Bnei Akiva
Shlichot, Hadas and Lital. Please join us in welcoming
them to our community.
