Mazal Tov


Mazal Tov to Lori & Eric Schwartz on the birth of twin girls.



Babysitting


Babysitting for children 3 and up runs from 9:30a until the end of
davening. This is only babysitting and while group leaders are
encouraged to interact with the children there is no “program”.
“Older” children are encouraged to be in shul with their parents.



Chol Hamoed Israel Carnival

Bnei Akiva News


This Friday, there will be an Oneg Shabbat for high school
students at the Mendelsons (983 Country Club) at 9:00p.
Shabbat Snif for 2nd - 8th graders will be at 5:15p at YIOT.

YIOT Adopt-a-Family Program


YIOT is participating in One Family Fund's Adopt-a-Family
Program to help victims of terror in Israel. We’ve exceeded
our goal of sponsoring one family and are now on the way
to adopting a second family, but we need your help. If you
haven’t participated and want to be part of this important
effort, please send your check made payable to "One
Family Fund" to Becky and Nachi Troodler (54 Canterbury
Ct.). Include a notation on tAdopt-a-Family Program.

Please Remember


Over Rosh Hashana and Yom Kippur our shul will be
providing services for many people. During morning tefilot
we expect more than 400 people in the building. Please
know where your children are at all times. The main level
of the shul will be used for tefilot only (main minyan and
beit medrash). The youth rooms will be locked. Children,
when not sitting in shul with their parents, should be
downstairs in the multi-purpose room downstairs. Children
should not be in the back yard, parking lot or running
around the building. As always we are making every effort
to have the most dignified davening possible. Your
cooperation is needed.

YIOT Sisterhood’s Meet and Greet Dessert will be on
September 9th at 4:00p in the YIOT multipurpose room.

Yamim Noraim Babysitting

Babysitting is available during davening for children ages 3 +.
Each year, a group of Teaneck High School students babysit
during davening, with one or two volunteer members checking on
them. This light supervision is extremely important, doesn’t
require a lot of work, and has a huge impact in the running of the
shul over the chagim. To volunteer, contact Mark Zomick.



Bnei Akiva

Come join YIOT as we welcome B’nei Akiva at Space
Odyssey on September 10th from 4:30p to 7:30p. Price
(including dinner) is $54 in advance, $60 at the door. For

To coordinate Shabbat meals for the Bnei Akiva girls for

If you have a water urn, 2 pots, 2 pans, electric plug-in
burner/cooktop/hot plate, and a vacuum to donate for the
girls use, please drop the items off by at 121 Golf. If you
would like to stop by 121 Golf to welcome the Bnei Akiva
girls to the community, please feel free to do so.
